Work & Leadership
My work has evolved from hands-on creative and campaign leadership to executive-level strategy, team building, and organizational leadership.
MPB
Vice President of Marketing
I currently serve as Vice President of Marketing at MPB, the leading global platform for buying, selling, and trading camera gear across the U.S. and Europe. I joined as the company’s first U.S. marketing hire and built the U.S. function from the ground up. Today, I lead a team of 12 across brand, growth, and communications, and serve as one of four marketing VPs contributing to global planning and prioritization.
I’m responsible for U.S. marketing strategy in the company’s largest and fastest-growing market, partnering closely with executive and regional leadership to ensure market insight, customer realities, and commercial priorities inform centralized strategy.
Over time, my role has shifted away from individual campaigns and toward systems, decisions, and tradeoffs: aligning brand, growth, and communications; strengthening marketing operating models; building resilient teams; and helping leadership navigate change with clarity and discipline. I also serve on MPB’s Sustainability Committee and have championed responsible adoption of new capabilities, including AI, to improve effectiveness while maintaining trust and sound judgment.
StellarEngine Consulting
Founder & Principal
Before MPB, I founded and led StellarEngine Consulting, a boutique brand and content strategy firm. For nearly a decade, I worked as a senior strategic partner to consumer brands, nonprofits, and political organizations, often during periods of transition or repositioning.
As founder and principal, I operated at both the strategic and leadership levels: advising executive teams, shaping brand and communication strategy, and building right-sized teams for each engagement. The work spanned brand foundations, integrated campaigns and long-term audience strategy, with an emphasis on cultural relevance, clarity and measurable impact.
During this time, I served as social agency of record for Wrigley brands including Skittles, Starburst, Extra, and 5 gum. Campaign work earned REGGIE, Effie, and Shorty Awards and was featured in outlets including The New York Times, Adweek, Mashable, and Forbes. More importantly, the experience shaped how I balance creative ambition with executional rigor and client trust.
Flippable
Strategic Advisor &
Interim Director of Marketing
I worked with Flippable, a political startup focused on flipping state legislatures, during a period of rapid growth and organizational transition. I initially served as a Strategic Advisor and later stepped in as Interim Director of Marketing, supporting leadership on messaging, organizational development, and marketing strategy.
In that interim role, I focused on stabilizing the marketing function, completing a full organizational rebrand, and supporting the launch of a new digital platform ahead of the 2018 midterms. The work required operating under real-time pressure, aligning stakeholders quickly, and balancing urgency with long-term credibility and impact.
Earlier Career
Foundational work in nonprofit leadership and communications
Earlier in my career, I held leadership roles in nonprofit education and youth development organizations and worked as a freelance copywriter and grant writer. These roles grounded my approach to leadership in mission-driven environments, complex stakeholder systems, and the realities of limited resources — perspectives that continue to inform how I lead teams and make decisions today.
